Summer Camp

For four consecutive years, around fifty youngsters from disadvantaged communities in  San Juan, Puerto Rico participate in the RMF – Capoeira Summer Camp. Besides learning this dynamic Brazilian martial art, these teenagers also nurtured their self esteem with sports clinics, lessons in performing arts and receive amicable seminars about health, drug prevention among others topics that enhance their well-being.

At the end of the summer camp, the Directors of Anaue Capoeira - the academic institution that leads the camp- grant several participants scholarships to continue learning this antique martial art. The camp is organized in alliance with the First Lady of the Municipality of San Juan, Anaue Capoeira, and the support of social responsible corporations.
